The studentships will be awarded to a small number of British students to help towards tuition costs at UK higher education institutions for MSc courses starting in the autumn each year. Awards are anticipated to be between £1,500 and £2,500 depending on the number and quality of applicants.
Who can apply
- Applicants must be British nationals who would have previously been eligible for Natural Environment Research Council (NERC) support.
- Applicants must have an honours degree in a relevant subject (including civil engineering, geography, environmental science, ecology, statistics, physics or mathematics), with at least upper second class honours.
- BHS will review applications, assessing academic performance, references, and personal statements, and rank candidates accordingly.
