Am I eligible?
To be eligible you must:
be a prospective international student for a coursework degree (bachelor or masters) at Deakin University
be a citizen of a Latin American country
meet the entry requirements for your course, including English language requirements
not have accepted any other Deakin scholarship or bursary
have an overall equivalent Weighted Average Mark (WAM) of at least 65% in their most recent post-secondary studies.
Conditions of eligibility
If you haven't started any post-secondary study, you must meet one of the following:
International Baccalaureate applicants need a minimum score of 27 (if the course entry requirement is 25)
All other secondary study applicants need an average of at least 65%.
This scholarship does not apply to the following courses:
Bachelor of Medical Imaging (H309)
Doctor of Medicine (H911)
Master of Dietetics (H718)
Bachelor of Nursing (H326)
Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Midwifery (D355)
Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Psychological Science (D387)
Bachelor of Nursing/Bachelor of Public Health and Health Promotion (D381)
Bachelor of Nutrition Science (Dietetics Pathway) (H318)
Bachelor of Occupational Therapy (H355)
Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) (H452)
Bachelor of Social Work (H330)
Bachelor of Vision Science/Master of Optometry (D302)
Graduate Diploma of Psychology (Advanced) (H650)
Master of Professional Psychology (H744)
Master of Counselling (H758).
If you're eligible, you'll automatically be considered for this scholarship – no separate application is required. You'll be notified of the outcome once your course application has been assessed.
