Scholarship applications will be considered on the basis of their ability to meet the eligibility criteria, academic potential, personal statement and the reference provided.
In addition to the information supplied on the scholarship application form, the University will gather contextual information to support the assessment of scholarship applications.
Supporting applicants from the North East of England.
We are delighted to announce the introduction of the Durham Inspired: North East Scholarships which have been specifically designed to support applicants from the North East of England.
Applicant must:
have a household income below £42,875.00 as determined by Student Finance England
be resident in one of the following North East postal regions CA, DH, DL, NE, SR or TS
Submit a completed scholarship application form by the scholarship deadline
Send a copy of your Student Finance England letter detailing the amount of maintenance loan you will receive to scholarship.application@durham.ac.uk - if you do not have this document by the deadline please provide a copy as soon as you are able to.
Make your referee aware of the scholarship you have applied for and the deadline for receipt of your reference - guidance information is provided
