The STEM Community Outreach Scholarship is available to new, undergraduate students majoring in Computing, Geosciences, Mathematics, and Physics. Scholarship recipients only pay in-state tuition, making this award equivalent to approximately $19,000 per year!
Requirements and Qualifications:
1. Must be first-time ETSU out-of-state or international student (either Fall or Spring term) -- this includes first-time freshmen and transfers.
2. First-time freshmen should have a high school GPA of at least 3.2 (on a 4.0 scale), a Math ACT score of 25, and an English ACT score of 21. First-time transfer students should have a college GPA of at least 3.0.
2. Undergraduate students are required to enroll in a minimum of 15 hours each semester.
3. First-time freshman recipients of this scholarship will be required to live on campus and purchase a meal plan their freshman year.
4. Recipients will participate in STEM community outreach activities as desginated for their major.
