Selection criteria:
To be eligible for this award, you must be:
- domiciled at the time of application in Sub-Saharan Africa, excluding Nigeria and Ghana. If you are applying from Nigeria or Ghana please refer to our West Africa Scholarship.
- self-funding your course
- meet the entry criteria for a Bachelors or eligible taught Masters course in September 2025 and January 2026
If you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship, you are not eligible for this scholarship.
Please Note – MRes programmes and the following Masters degrees are not eligible for this award:
- MBA (Business Leadership and Practice)
- MBA (Strategic Project Management)
- MSc Global Hospitality Management (extended)
- MSc Computing with Professional Placement
- MSc Pharmaceutical & Analytical Science
Scholarships are awarded automatically once you have paid your £6000 deposit payment towards your tuition fees. The number of scholarships is limited and they are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
