To be eligible for this award, you must be:
- domiciled at the time of application in Sub-Saharan Africa, excluding Benin, Cameroon, Cote d'Ivoire, Ghana, Nigeria, Senegal and Togo. If you are applying from one of these countries, please refer to our West Africa Scholarship
- self-funding your course
- be studying a full-time, on campus course
- meet the entry criteria for a Bachelors or eligible taught Masters course in September 2026 and January 2027
If you have discounted tuition fees from a partner university or are in receipt of another scholarship, you are not eligible for this scholarship.
Please Note – MRes programmes and the following Masters degrees are not eligible for this award:
- MBA (Business Leadership and Practice)
- MBA (Strategic Project Management)
- MSc Global Hospitality Management (extended)
- MSc Computing with Professional Placement
- MSc Pharmaceutical & Analytical Science
