- In order to apply for these scholarships you must have a PhD, Integrated PhD or Master by Research course offer.
Eligibility guidelines
To be eligible applicants must have met the minimum requirement below:
- Have been made an offer of a place in an ECU Higher Degree by PhD, Integrated PhD research course or Master by Research*
*If course admission applications have been submitted prior to the scholarship closing date but not assessed or approved prior to scholarship ranking, applications will be considered but applicants will only be provided a conditional scholarship offer, if successful.
You are not eligible to apply for these scholarships if any of the below apply:
- You have been in receipt of an Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID) or an Australia Award scholarship within the last two years.
- If you do not have principal supervisor endorsement to undertake the proposed research project.
- If your commencement date for the Doctor of Philosophy is after 01/12/2026.
- If your commencement period for Doctor of Philosophy (Integrated) or Masters by Research is after Semester 2, 2026.
