Impact Through Action Entrance Scholarship

Applications will be reviewed by an ICM scholarship selection committee. The scholarship selection committee will announce the winner at Orientation. The recipient will be notified by email and posted on the Student Portal. The scholarship will be awarded as per the terms and conditions.

A 500-word essay or 3-minute video describing their community engagement and impact. Examples may include:

• Community service and volunteerism
• Student leadership initiatives
• Social impact projects
• Extracurricular activities that have positively contributed to their local community

Supporting evidence demonstrating their contributions and achievements in the form of reference letters, photos, certificates, newspaper articles, etc.

To commemorate 20 years of partnership between ICM and the University of Manitoba, the Impact Through Action Entrance Scholarship has been established to recognize incoming students who have made extraordinary contributions to their local communities through leadership, service, and meaningful engagement.

To be eligible to apply, applicants must:

• Have a valid Letter of Offer or Letter of Acceptance to ICM for the intake for which they are applying.
• If the applicant has not yet accepted their offer or paid their deposit at the time of applying for the scholarship, they must do so before the submission & scholarship payment deadline for the intake for which they are applying.
