Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – International

The Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship - International is awarded to high achieving undergraduate students who make Lancaster their firm choice. It recognises both the fantastic results you have achieved to progress to undergraduate study and your commitment to joining our community by placing us as your firm choice.

Who is eligible?

You will be offered one of these scholarships if you:

• achieve A*AA and above at A level (or the equivalent in an alternative qualification)
• make Lancaster University your firm UCAS choice
• are an international fee paying applicant

Further information

• The scholarship is available across all our full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered fully on campus at Lancaster University Bailrigg campus.
• All grade conditions must be met or exceeded. Tariff point equivalences are not considered.
• The Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship - International is only available to students joining year 1 of an undergraduate programme
• Awardees must be classed as Overseas or International fee-paying students for tuition fee purposes, for the duration of their studies. If you are awarded the scholarship and are subsequently reassessed as a ‘Home' fee-payer, you will no longer be eligible for the scholarship.
• Pathway students progressing from the Lancaster University International Study Centre are not eligible for the Undergraduate Excellence Award – International. As an alternative, please review your eligibility for our Lancaster University International Study Centre Progression Scholarship
• You are not eligible to receive the Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship - International for any repeated years of study
