Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – Home

The Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – Home is awarded to high achieving undergraduate students who make Lancaster their firm choice. It recognises both the fantastic results you have achieved to progress to undergraduate study and your commitment to joining our community by placing us as your firm choice.

Who is eligible?

You will be offered one of these scholarships if you:

• achieve A*AA and above at A level (or the equivalent in an alternative qualification), with at least five GCSE's grade A/7 or above
• make Lancaster University your firm UCAS choice
• are a full-time Home fee paying applicant

International fee-paying applicants may be eligible for our Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – International.

• The scholarship is available across all our full-time undergraduate degree programmes offered fully on campus at Lancaster University Bailrigg campus.
• All grade conditions must be met or exceeded. Tariff point equivalences are not considered.
• The Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship - Home is only available to students joining year 1 of an undergraduate programme

We also offer an Undergraduate Excellence Scholarship – International for international fee-paying students.

Lancaster University reserves the right to withdraw this scholarship or bursary if award holders are subsequently found to be ineligible or if the terms and conditions of the scholarship are not adhered to.
