International Regional Entrance Scholarship

The International Regional Entrance Scholarships were established to financially support international students coming to Langara College in pursuit of higher education. Applicants can apply for the CAN $7,500 award if they are planning to start their full-time undergraduate studies in the specified semester. Eligible recipients will have CAN $5,000 applied towards the cost of tuition and fees in their first term of study. Recipients must maintain a CGPA of 2.67 in their first term and be registered full-time in an eligible program to receive the balance of their award as tuition credit in their second term of study. Eligibility Criteria

Recipients will:

• Be admitted or conditionally admitted to Langara as an international student for the specified semester
• Intend to study full-time (nine or more credits) in a regular studies undergraduate program or in an eligible full-time Continuing Studies program (2D/3D Animation, Real Estate, Advanced Accounting, and RMT)
• Have a minimum 80% GPA from high school or post-secondary institution. Post-secondary only to be considered if a full credential has been completed from a college or university outside of Canada
• Be from one of the following regions: Americas, Africa, South Asia, Southeast Asia, East Asia, Middle East, Europe, or CIS.
