LSE Excellence Scholarships are prestigious awards for exceptional Postgraduate Taught students joining LSE in 2026. These scholarships recognise applicants who demonstrate outstanding academic ability and strong potential to thrive in their chosen programme.

Eligibility

Applicants to Postgraduate Taught programmes offered by the following LSE departments will be eligible for consideration for this scholarship:

• Accounting
• Anthropology
• Gender Studies
• Geography and Environment
• Health Policy
• International Development
• International History
• LSE Law School
• Mathematics
• Media and Communications
• School of Public Policy
• Sociology
• Statistics

Applicants to double degree programmes will only be eligible for consideration if their first year of study is at LSE.

Applicants to executive education programmes are not eligible for consideration.
