Global Skills Opportunity is the Government of Canada's national outbound student mobility pilot program. It aims to empower post-secondary institutions to increase the participation of Canadians in international learning opportunities – especially students with disabilities, Indigenous students, and those from low socio-economic backgrounds.
To be eligible, students must:
- Be accepted to and participate in an eligible education abroad program offered by MacEwan International
- Have completed all pre-departure requirements set by MacEwan International
Preference is given to students with disabilities and students in internship programs.
Disbursement Criteria
For funds to be disbursed, successful applicants must be enrolled in a full-time course load and be in good academic standing.
