Richard Cook Composition Award

Annually, the Chair of Music and department representative with composition experience will set the criteria of the award and select the successful winners.

Recipients will be notified via e-mail. Committee selections are final appeals will not be considered.

Typically given out in the Winter term.

To be eligible, students must be:

Enrolled full or part-time in the Bachelor of Music Program.

The selection criteria, adjudication of composition, and recipient of the award will be determined by the Chair of the Music Department. Composition includes any original work for voice(s), instrument(s), or any combination thereof.

Disbursement Criteria

Be enrolled full- or part-time in the Bachelor of Music Program.

Be in good academic standing.
