Medibank Future Health Leaders Scholarship

About the scholarship

The Medibank Future Health Leaders Scholarship is awarded to recognise academic excellence for international students. This is a highly competitive scholarship based on academic merit and is awarded to talented students intending to pursue a Bachelor's or Master's coursework degree in a health-related field at Macquarie University. This scholarship provides AUD $3,000 applied towards your tuition fee.

Duration

This scholarship is a one-off payment.

Criteria

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must be a full-time international student commencing an undergraduate or postgraduate coursework degree and meet the following criteria:

• Must be an international student (not an Australian citizen, New Zealand citizen or permanent resident of Australia)
• Hold a full offer for an undergraduate or postgraduate degree in Medicine and Health, Psychology and Cognitive Science
• Achieve a minimum WAM equivalent of 85 for postgraduate applications or a minimum ATAR equivalent of 90 for undergraduate applications
• Commence study in the session and year indicated in your scholarship letter of offer
• Must not be a previous recipient of the Medibank Coursework Scholarship
• Be willing to attend Medibank Scholars Network events throughout the year including the Welcome Event.
