Postgraduate International Scholarship

Aimed at:

Postgraduate students from outside the UK, who will pay full overseas tuition fees.

Eligibility:

You must have been accepted onto a taught masters degree course, starting in September 2026.

Applicant and course eligibility criteria

Applicants must hold an offer for a taught master's course (180 credits) at Manchester Metropolitan University, unless specifically stated.
This offer is only available for programmes commencing in September 2026 or in January 2027.
The applicable award amount will be determined by the programme enrolment at the point of registration. The value of the award is:

£5,000 for most eligible full-time postgraduate taught programmes
£3,000 for students enrolling on:

• Master of Business Administration (MBA)
• Master of Sport Directorship
• Master of Architecture
• MA Architecture and Urbanism
• MA Architecture and Adaptive Reuse
• Master of Landscape Architecture

Students studying part-time will be eligible for the Scholarship providing they are paying overseas fees.
The scholarship will be awarded on a pro-rata basis, in proportion to the tuition fees charged, which means they will receive a proportion of the scholarship in each year of their course.
Only courses being taught on the Manchester Campus are eligible, unless specifically stated.
Applicants must be self-funding and classified as overseas students for tuition fee purposes.
Applicants must successfully meet all conditions set for entry onto their chosen course of study.
