AUD $53,608 p.a (2026 rate). The Monash Graduate Impact 2030 Scholarship provides: a living allowance (stipend); a research allowance; and a relocation allowance, if eligible.

You must meet the following criteria:
have submitted a scholarship application in the current year
undertaking research which aligns with one of the University Global Challenges (e.g. Thriving Communities, Climate Change and Geopolitical Security) as outlined in Impact 2030
meet Monash's competitive scholarship selection process requirements and
meet Monash English language proficiency requirements.
This scholarship is also available to students undertaking Joint Research Awards when Monash University is the home institution.
Two scholarships per year:
one in the Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) disciplines.one in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) disciplines.
Graduate research scholarships applications are submitted at the same time as your course application, unless you are already enrolled. Whether you are a new applicant or a current student, the myApp Portal is used for both course admission and scholarship applications. You do not need to select specific scholarships, eligible applicants are automatically considered for all available graduate research scholarships.
Note: This prestigious scholarship is awarded in the 31 October scholarship round only. Eligible applicants from Rounds 1 through to 4 (of the same year) will automatically be considered for nomination by the relevant faculty.
Different scholarships may have varying application requirements, so it's important to carefully review the details and ensure your application is submitted by the specified deadline.
If you are a new applicant, you must first receive an invitation to apply from the relevant faculty before beginning your application.
