SSSC Bursary for MSc/PGDip Social Work

The number of Bursaries the University is allocated by the SSSC each year is limited and unfortunately, we are not allocated as many Bursaries as we offer places on the course. Consequently, applicants with the strongest application will be nominated for the bursary first. Applicants who are not nominated for the Bursary will be placed on a waiting list. Eligible Countries of Residence: Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Ireland, Romania, Scotland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden. If your country is not listed, you may still be eligible for financial assistance. Applicants based in or from the EU will be assessed on a case by case basis by the SSSC regarding their eligibility for this bursary. To qualify for the Bursary, applicants must be Scottish/EU citizens or must have a UK passport and have resided in Scotland for a minimum of 2 years. Any EU applicant or UK passport holder's residence should not have been specifically for educational purposes. EU/EEA students must have been resident prior to 31 December 2020 and have the EU Settlement Scheme status (settled or pre-settled). Irish students who have arrived in the UK after 01 January 2021 must be ordinarily resident in Scotland (and no part of this residence was specifically for educational purposes). All Bursary students MUST be resident in Scotland to undertake the course, in order to be eligible for the Bursary.
