The discount is open to Home and Overseas fee status students. You must have successfully completed one of the following programmes at SOAS:
- Undergraduate degree
- Master's degree
- (ICC) International Foundation programme
- Fee-paying Study Abroad programme (semester or full year) or Academic Summer School
You must have studied your programme on campus and not via distance learning.
Restrictions and exemptions
- The reduction only applies to the first year of a full-time programme or equivalent part-time programme
- The reduction only applies for students progressing onto a higher qualification than previously studied at SOAS (for example Masters degree to PhD)
- You cannot receive the SOAS Alumni discount if you have already received another discount from the University, such as the SOAS Family Discount
- Not available for students who are progressing to online distance learning programmes
