The basis of selection will be academic merit as assessed by the candidate's recent academic record, and the quality and nature of the research proposal. Matters that may be considered in relation to academic merit include, but are not limited to, standing of awarding institution, academic references, CV, research and publication record.
The intention of the Scholarship is to encourage and support an academically excellent domestic, or international student who is paying domestic fees, to undertake doctoral study in Planning at Waipapa Taumata Rau, University of Auckland.
The Scholarship is tenable by full-time international students who are eligible to pay domestic fees.
