The Business School Sustainability and Social Impact Scholarships

The Business School Sustainability and Social Impact Scholarship programme is based on merit and is available to applicants holding an offer for a taught Masters commencing in September 2025 at the Business School.

Scholarship Criteria

We are pleased to offer The Business School Sustainability and Social Impact Scholarships to candidates who:

Can demonstrate their commitment to social responsibility and sustainability through previous action and support either within the business setting specifically, or in a wider sense.
Continue to aspire to make a difference within social responsibility and sustainability through their future personal and career goals.
Can demonstrate strong academic performance.

Eligibility

You can apply for the scholarship once you have received an offer (conditional or unconditional) to join one of the eligible programmes and have either firmly accepted the offer or are intending to do so.

The scholarship selection panel will only be able to consider your scholarship application if you hold an active offer throughout your scholarship application process (meaning if your offer is declined at any point up until the scholarship decision deadline you will no longer be eligible). You can only apply to the scholarship once per admissions cycle.

Candidates will not be eligible for this scholarship if they:

Are fully sponsored by an employer.
Are in receipt of a full scholarship.
Have already accepted another scholarship from the University of Edinburgh.
Submit a scholarship application prior to having secured an offer for the study programme.

Banking Innovation and Risk Analytics MSc
Business Analytics MSc
Climate Change Finance and Investment MSc
Entrepreneurship and Innovation MSc
Finance and Investment MSc
