Bar Practice Course (BPC) Award

September 2025 intake:

• 1 Master / Mistress of Moots (London) - £5,000
• 7 Senior Scholars (1 per campus) - £3,400 each
• 12 Advocacy Scholarships (London) - £2,400 each
• 18 Advocacy Scholarships (All other campuses) - £2,150 each
• 18 BPC Deans Awards for Excellence - £1,150 each

Please note: Winners of our advocacy awards and scholarships will be required to become a member of our Advocacy Committee.

What are the eligibility criteria?

• All winners will be chosen during the selection event stage of the application process for our BPC and LLM Bar Practice.
• As such you will need to successfully pass the selection event stage and be in receipt of an offer to be eligible for any awards.
• You will also need to have submitted a CV and covering letter and have received an offer for one of our postgraduate law courses.
• The Advocacy Scholarships, including the Master / Mistress of Moots and all Senior Scholars will be selected based on demonstrating exceptional leadership skills and strong organisation ability along with mooting and / or advocacy experience.
• The Dean's Awards for Excellence will be selected based on demonstrating participation in voluntary programmes and the impact of your voluntary work.
