N D Goldsworthy Scholarship for Physics

Eligible candidates will be ranked based on: Academic Excellence, Satisfactory progress.

This scholarship is awarded to a confirmed Doctor of Philosophy Science candidate, or a first year Master of Science (Physics) student, on the basis of academic excellence.

Benefits

Doctor of Philosophy Science candidates to be awarded scholarship as a top-up of approximately AUD $6,000 per annum, for a maximum of 3.5 years subject to satisfactory progress as assessed by the students Advisory Committee.

Master of Science (Physics) students to be awarded a scholarship amount that will depend on the number of eligible students and the funds available.

Eligibility

To be considered for this scholarship, you must:

Be a confirmed School of Physics Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) Science candidate and

Have commenced PhD studies between the 1st of July in the previous year and the 30th of June in the year of the award, OR

Be enrolled in the first semester of a Master of Science (Physics) program.

PhD Science candidates can hold this scholarship for a maximum duration of 3.5 years. Scholarship benefits may be suspended or the award may be revoked if the candidate is assessed as not making satisfactory progress in accordance with the policy.
