Eligible applicants are selected on the basis of academic merit, faculty scholarship score, demonstrated skill in the relevant research area, career aspiration and the terms and conditions of the trust.
The selection committee will base its assessment on the application form, academic transcripts, the faculty scholarship score and the student's project proposal, CV and referee reports.
The W. P. Greene Scholarship, is available for a well-qualified student undertaking research relevant to cancer.
To be considered for this scholarship, you must:
be an outstanding applicant commencing a graduate research degree, or currently enrolled in a graduate research degree in the Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences
be undertaking a research relevant to cancer at the University of Melbourne Centre for Cancer Research (UMCCR)
have a principal supervisor affiliated with the UMCCR
demonstrate exemplary skills in the nominated research area (cancer)
satisfy the Faculty's entry requirements for graduate research.
