Broad Memorial Scholarship

Selection is based on: 2.3.1. academic merit. 2.3.2. motivation of the applicant to undertake postgraduate research. 2.3.3. Preference will be given to applicants who meet one or more of the following criteria: Broad Memorial Scholarship 2025 a. undertaking research related to Antarctica. b. undertaking research in Earth Sciences. c. have not previously held the award. d. do not hold other funding and/or who have need of the funds.

For students who are enrolled full-time or part-time in a MSc(Research), MPhil or PhD with a research component in the field of Earth Sciences and/or Environmental Sciences. Students must at the time of application have at least 9 months remaining on their enrolment and intend to remain enrolled during the year of tenure. Preference will be given to students who are undertaking research related to Antarctica and/or Earth Science.
