- Must be registered in a Master program in Human Nutrition
- Preference given to a student who does not hold additional awards and scholarships valued at CAD $15000 or greater during the tenure of this award
- Selection based on academic achievement

- Open to permanent residents
- Open to foreign nationals holding Canadian study permits
- Open to applicants in course-based study programs
- Open to applicants in thesis-based study programs
- Open to applicants in masters programs
- Open to full time or part time registered students
