A level and IB Scholarship for International Students

To receive the award, the below criteria must be met. Applicants must be:

• Classed as International/Overseas fee-payer status. Home fee paying students are not eligible
• Achieve an IB Diploma score of 33 points or more, or A level grades of ABB or higher
• Applying for the first year of an undergraduate course at level 4 (first year) starting in the 2026/27 academic year. Applicants applying for level 5 or 6 are not eligible as they would not be entering on the basis of their A level or IB results, but would be eligible for the VC's Undergraduate Scholarship.
• Applicants for the International Foundation Year would not be eligible, but would receive the International Foundation Year Scholarship.
• Only international A levels administered by Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), Oxford AQA, Edexcel (Pearson), and Learning Resource Network (LRN) are eligible for this award, including the Singapore-Cambridge GCE Advanced Level. All A levels taken in the UK are eligible. No other equivalents are accepted.

Students who are successful in being awarded this scholarship will not be eligible for any other scholarships or bursaries, but will be eligible for the £1000 prompt payment discount on tuition fees.
