The Department of Computer Science and Technology makes a number of bursaries available to outstanding home students who are applying for admission to the MPhil in Advanced Computer Science.
We encourage groups currently underrepresented in Engineering and Physical Science subjects. Amongst UK-domiciled students, this includes women, Black British, British Bangladeshi and British Pakistani applicants, and we also particularly welcome applications from people from low-income backgrounds, mature students, care-experienced students, and students from families where no parent or care-giver went to university.
UK-domiciled graduates who are eligible for home rate fees may apply. Applicants are expected to meet the minimum entry requirements for the course: first-class honours degree in computer science. Alternatively, a degree of equal status in engineering, science, or mathematics where the applicant can demonstrate significant relevant preparation for the Cambridge MPhil course.
