George Diemer Scholarship for International Students

The George W. Diemer Scholarship for International Students is available through the University of Central Missouri Alumni Foundation for an international student pursuing a degree at UCM. This scholarship is made possible by way of a generous gift from the Class of 1955 in honor of President George W. Diemer.

The Spring Graduating Class of 1955 established the George W. Diemer Scholarship Award for International Students in honor of UCM President Diemer. President Diemer was vitally interested in developing better understanding among peoples of the world, and the 1955 graduating class knew that the best method of developing such understanding is through education. It is the desire of this graduating class that one student be brought from other countries each year who would not otherwise have the opportunity to study in the United States.
