Bright Futures Postgraduate Scholarship

We know funding your Master's can be a concern.

At UEA, we want to help support you to reach your potential, whilst enjoying the unique and important contribution to university life that only you can make.

So our new Bright Futures Postgraduate Scholarships offer a £2,000 reduction in fees for UK-based students starting an eligible course in the 2026/7 academic year, to help you get on with taking your next step.

Guidance

We are looking for a carefully constructed, original re​sponse that can demonstrate how you believe studying your chosen course at UEA will help you to make a difference in the future of your chosen field of study. We are also interested to hear how you will contribute to our campus environment during your time here at UEA. Your answers should reflect that you have a good understanding of your area of study and what it means to be part of the UEA student body.​

The following courses are not eligible:

• MBA
• MSc Plant Genetics and Crop Improvement
• MSc Global Plant Health
• MA The Arts of Africa, Oceania and The Americas
• Any Integrated Masters
• Any Pre-Masters, Postgraduate Certificate or Postgraduate Diploma courses

Restrictions with other Scholarships

You are not able to receive any other UEA Scholarships in addition to this. If you are eligible for another UEA Scholarship of higher value, this will automatically replace this Scholarship. Students receiving sponsorship covering full fees by an outside body or government organisation are not eligible for this scholarship. Government or educational loans that require repayment do not affect eligibility.
