Established in honour of Katherine M. Beck, a Mac '22 graduate and chief dietitian at Creelman Hall from 1926 to 1962. The award winner will be selected on the basis of outstanding academic achievement (a minimum cumulative average of 80%) at the undergraduate and Masters level and the potential for significant contributions to the discipline as a doctoral student. No application is required. Full-time students entering a doctoral program in the Department of Family Relations and Applied Nutrition.
