Please note, you will need to hold at least a conditional offer for your programme (to begin study in September 2025) in order to apply for this scholarship.
Criteria
Applicants will not have had the opportunity to attend Higher Education within the last 5 years due to work, family or educational commitments.
Eligible candidates will not hold any prior undergraduate or postgraduate degree qualification. Foundation degrees or other lower level qualifications are acceptable.
You must be a UK resident and have a home address in either Kent or Sussex at time of application.
Candidates will be income assessed according to the following criteria:
- UK students who are new to higher education and have a household income of less than £42,875 as well as meeting other financial eligibility criteria.
- As long as you have made your application to Student Finance England, you have been income assessed by them, and you and your sponsor(s) (the person(s) income assessed by SFE, where relevant) have given your consent to share your financial details with the University, you will automatically be assessed for your entitlement.
