Graduate International Excellence Scholarships

To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the academic standards required for acceptance into your program of interest.

Exceptional students from around the world who have demonstrated academic excellence, and who apply to one of UMass Lowell's Master's programs, may receive consideration for this merit-based scholarship.

Scholarship awards range from USD $1,000 to USD $5,000 and are provided for a total of four semesters (a maximum of USD $20,000) to students who pursue their studies full-time on campus. For students pursuing the 42-credit Master of Public Health degree, the award is available for up to five semesters (up to USD $25,000 total).

The Graduate International Excellence Scholarships were created to help students advance their knowledge, their careers, and the rich diversity of UMass Lowell's student population.

Applicants must apply to UMass Lowell by one of the priority deadlines for either the Fall start term, or Spring, and pursue studies full-time on campus, in order to be considered.

Academic Criteria: To be considered for this scholarship, you must meet the academic standards required for acceptance into your program of interest.

Program of Study: You must be admitted into one of UMass Lowell's Master's degree programs.

Location: You must pursue your degree full-time by taking classes on campus at UMass Lowell or, at minimum, two on-campus and one online course each semester.
