The School of Earth and Environmental Sciences invites applicants for the Applied Environmental Sciences MSc to apply for a Women in Mining (WIM) UK Scholarship.
Founded in 2006, Women in Mining UK (WIM UK) advocates and speaks for women in the mining sector, informing industry participants and decision-makers of the challenges and opportunities women face in pursuing careers in mining companies and other mining-related businesses.
Additional criteria
Information received in the application will be taken into consideration as part of the overall review process, and no details will be taken in isolation. This information will be used solely for scholarship assessment purposes.
You must have achieved a minimum 2:1 undergraduate BSc or BEng, or have equivalent experience.
In the application form, you will be required to provide a statement describing your commitment to a career in the Earth and environmental science sector, any personal or professional connection to St Andrews or Fife, and any additional information regarding why you are applying for this scholarship.
You will also be asked to provide a statement explaining how this funding could help you attend the Applied Environmental Sciences MSc course.
