Dobbie Scholarship

The scholarship is available to students with a Home (Scotland) fee status, who are entering the University on any course, through the Gateway Programmes.

Selection is based on financial need and donor-specific criteria.

As part of the application you will be asked to upload evidence of the income stated in your scholarship application as total household income. You must provide all relevant forms of income for the current or most recent full year:

• Employment, wage and salary statements from the last three months
• Tax certificates or returns
• Confirmation letters from Department of Work and Pensions
• Award letters from Social Security Scotland
• Letters from local government
• Tax credits
• Disability Living Allowance (DLA)
• Dividends, pension or annuity

Where evidence is not available please provide bank statements or electronic statements of the last three months to show receipt of income. Preferably in PDF format and in English.

It is extremely important that you give complete and accurate information when you apply to the University for funding.
