Postgraduate Accommodation Award

Prospective postgraduate research students can apply for financial support towards their university or private accommodation costs. A number of awards are available of £1,750 per annum for the course duration. Selection is based on financial need.

Additional criteria

• You must have applied for a postgraduate research programme: MPhil, PhD, MSc(Res), MSt(Res), EngD, MFA.
• Eligible applicants should have a gross annual household income of under £40,000, and must articulate a need for support through a personal statement within the application form.
• If you are applying for a postgraduate research programme, your programme start date must be one of the following:August 2026September 2026October 2026January 2027May 2027
