Sussex Progressive Futures Scholarships

Applications will be assessed on the strength of answers to the following:

• Describe your previous academic achievements and experience, including ways you have contributed to environmental sustainability, human flourishing, and/or digital & data futures
• What impact will the scholarship have on your time at Sussex and what qualities will you bring to the Sussex community?
• What are your aspirations and how you will realise the vision of creating flourishing, sustainability and progress in the future?

Who is eligible

To be eligible for this scholarship, you must:

• Be taking up a place on an eligible Masters degree, starting September 2026 (the offer can be conditional)
• Be self-financing
• Be UK or Overseas for fees
• Have exceptional academic grades (see 'Qualifications advice' for indication of minimum grades required this does not include all accepted qualifications and is instead intended as guidance)

Who isn't eligible

You are not eligible for this scholarship if you:

• Are applying for a Masters at a university that is not at the University of Sussex
• Are progressing into the final year of an integrated Masters at Sussex
• Are studying an online course
