African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS) Entrance Scholarship

Recipients selected automatically by the Faculty/Department.

Eligibility & selection criteria:

• Applicants must have completed or expect to complete in the next year, a Bachelor's or Master's degree from AIMS and have applied to the MMath or PhD program in the Faculty of Mathematics
• Minimum cumulative of 80% in most recently completed program
• Students must maintain a minimum average of 80%
• Students must show satisfactory progress during their program
• A progress report must be completed annually by the student's supervisor and approved by the Department Graduate Officer and Associate Dean, Graduate Studies, in the Faculty of Mathematics
• Recipients can concurrently hold other awards
