Full-time Undergraduate Bursary

The Full-time Undergraduate Bursary can help fund your university experience and can be put towards whatever you need to support your studies including travel costs, study materials or accommodation.

Please note that bursaries are subject to availability and you are encouraged to apply early, once applications open.

Students must fulfill all criteria below:

1. Students paying Home fees
2. Students from a household with a gross income of less than £28,000 per annum
3. Students who have accepted an offer of a place on a full-time undergraduate bachelor's degree at UWL and be starting their new course at Level 4 in September 2026 or October 2026
4. The bursary payment is subject to 'good studentship' which includes a minimum of 65% attendance, plus engagement and submission to assessment.

The following students are not eligible:

• Students on a BA/BSc/BEng with Foundation Year
• Students on courses eligible to apply for additional funding from the NHS Learning Support Fund (eg Nursing and Midwifery courses) or UWL Biomedical Science Bursary
• Students paying the 'Overseas' fee rate
• Students whose fees are paid or part-paid through a sponsorship arrangement (eg degree apprentices or students studying on a collaborative programme)
• Students studying at affiliate or partner institutions
