This scholarship supports students seeking asylum and are currently living in the United Kingdom.
Eligibility
Students must fulfil all criteria below:
You must have an offer from the University of Westminster for a place on a full-time master's course starting in September 2026
You must be resident in the UK
You must hold one of the following eligible immigration statuses before submitting your application
- UK asylum seeker
- UK discretionary leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application)
- UK limited leave to remain (as a result of an asylum application)
- UK refugee status obtained
Students who already have a master's degree are not eligible to apply
Students who are able to receive taught postgraduate student loans from Student Finance are not eligible to apply
The following categories of students are not eligible:
- Postgraduate Diploma
- Professional courses (eg RIBA pt III, ACCA, CIMA, CiLEX)
- Conversion courses (eg Graduate Diploma in Law)
- Integrated Masters/MPhil/
