Global Impact Undergraduate Scholarship

Our scholarships are awarded to undergraduate international students to support them in achieving their goals at the University of York.

Open to students from China, India, Malaysia, Nigeria, Thailand, Türkiye and USA.

Students from Hong Kong or Macao are welcome to explore one of our many other funding opportunities for international undergraduate students.

To be eligible for a Global Impact Undergraduate Scholarship, you must

have a conditional or unconditional offer to study at the University of York by 30 June 2026

be paying fees at the overseas fee rate (any fee assessments must be completed by 30 June 2026)

intend to study a full-time undergraduate course.

You will not be eligible if

you hold a 100% tuition fee scholarship or are fully sponsored.

Distance and online learning courses

Part-time courses

Partnership and exchange students (including visiting students)
