The successful candidate will receive £1000 at the end of their first year, subject to demonstrating skill, improvement and dedication in their orchestral playing/performance.
Open to International (including EU) and UK (home) students.
In memory of Robert Ackrill-Haigh, this scholarship is awarded to a talented 1st year undergraduate string player.
All UG Year 1 string players will be considered for the award which will be decided at the end of Semester 2.
The successful candidate will receive a one off payment of £1000.
The award will be based on the string player's demonstration of skill, improvement and dedication in their orchestral playing/performance throughout their first year.
Candidates must be studying for an undergraduate degree in Music or Music and Sound Recording and have successfully completed Year 1.
