This bursary is designed to support international students from eligible countries to enrol in Bridging English on their pathway to The University of Queensland.
Eligibility
To be eligible, you must:
- Hold a passport from Ghana, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kyrgyzstan, Malaysia, Nigeria, Philippines, Sri Lanka, South Africa, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam or an eligible country in Europe^ or Latin America*.
- Have not received another scholarship, tuition fee reduction or rebate from UQ or UQC.
- Have not received a full scholarship/sponsorship from another organisation (partial scholarships/ sponsorships will be considered at UQC's discretion).
BE 10 Standard tuition fees - $6,250.00 Total (before
bursary) - $6,860.00 Total (with bursary) - $4,375.00 Bursary value - $2,135.00
BE 15 Standard tuition fees - $9,375.00 Total (before
bursary) - $10,160.00 Total (with bursary) - $6,562.50 Bursary value - $3,072.50
BE 20 Standard tuition fees - $12,500.00 Total (before
bursary) - $13,460.00 Total (with bursary) - $8,750.00 Bursary value - $4,010.00
BE 25 Standard tuition fees - $15,625.00 Total (before
bursary) - $16,760.00 Total (with bursary) - $10,937.50 Bursary value - $4,947.50
BE 30 Standard tuition fees - $18,750.00 Total (before
bursary) - $20,060.00 Total (with bursary) - $13,125.00 Bursary value - $5,885.00
Students must apply for their chosen UQ program and opt to package Bridging English. If eligible, this bursary will be automatically awarded.
