University Center for International Education (UCIE) Undergraduate Merit Scholarship

Wright State University's UCIE Undergraduate Merit Scholarship Program is designed to recognize academically outstanding international first-year and transfer students for the 2026–27 academic years. Scholarships are renewable and range in value from USD $6,000 to USD $10,000. Eligible students who continue to meet certain criteria can receive this scholarship for a total of 8 semesters of full-time undergraduate study.

Scholarship Details

• Students may receive only one institutional Academic Performance/Merit Scholarship
• No scholarship application is needed
• Students must be enrolled full-time
• Must be an international degree seeking student on an F1 visa or J1 visa
• Must be charged non-resident tuition surcharge
• The scholarship is divided evenly between the Fall and Spring Semesters-Renewable contingent on maintaining a 2.5 GPA and earning a total of 24 credit hours during the Fall and Spring Semesters
• Funds are awarded as available, so apply for undergraduate admission early
• It can be used for undergraduate tuition only
