Graduate Certificate in Environmental Science

The two-semester (8-month) program is an integrative certificate that allows students to continue their education focused on the expanding field of Environmental Science. Our wide variety of courses gives certificate students a flexible, relevant, high-quality education with a particular focus on research allowing them to expand their expertise in Environmental Science. Course offerings span Biology, Chemistry, Environmental Science and Geology, allowing students to customize their certificate to their area of interest.

University undergraduate degree with a minimum of 70% or (B) overall average. International
applicants must provide documentation of language proficiency as per Algoma University’s current language requirements.

Applicants for this program must not have a post-graduate credential in the same or closely related field.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS:
The graduate certificate requirements for the Graduate certificate in Environmental Science requires a minimum 60% cumulative average for all courses required for the certificate.

Language Requirements: IELTS of 6.0 overall with a minimum of 6.0 on all bands.
