You will gain basic transfer skills for interpreting in general conversational settings, learn about professional ethics, and improve lanague proficiency. You will develop the skills to conduct transactions, interactions, and negotiations at a functional level.
This program is endorsed by the National Accreditation Authority for Translators and Interpreters (NAATI). Students who successfully graduate from this qualification will be eligible to sit the certification test for the NAATI Certified Provisional Interpreter.

Entry requirements for Australian Institute of Language
Age:
International applicants must not be less than 18 years of age at the proposed commencement date.
Academic Entry Requirements:
\u2022 Year 12 or equivalent achiever, or above
\u2022 Completion of B2 \u2013 Upper Intermediate level, with minimum grade of C+ in English Language Intensive Courses for Overseas Students (ELICOS) program, or
\u2022 Completion of a recognized Diploma or equivalent, or above in any discipline delivered in English
