Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering – Mechanical

Aviation Australia currently holds an EASA part 147 approval allowing students to reduce the timeframe to apply for their licence from a minimum of 5 years to a minimum of 2 years.
The EASA Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (Mechanical) is a 95 weeks program which includes 1164 hours of practical maintenance training at Aviation Australia’s fully owned world class hangars. Students who successfully graduate will qualify for a Diploma of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering (recognised Australia wide) and an EASA Certificate of Recognition (recognised world-wide for the purpose of the EASA Part-66 Licence application).

As a mechanical student you will learn Aviation English, Mathematics, Physics, Electronic and Electrical fundamentals while also progressing into more complex and mechanical related modules such as Turbine Aeroplane Aerodynamics, Structures and Systems, Gas Turbine Engine and Propeller.
The practical maintenance training designed for this course will expose you to individual and team tasks in a live hangar where Aviation Australia’s Aircraft Maintenance Engineers will sign you off on your fully owned Journal of Experience.
