Year 12 - A-level/IB/BTEC (1st year)

At Bedford, we understand boys, we know how you learn and what motivates you. In the Sixth Form, we will encourage you to aim high, guide you through important decisions, and provide the support you need to reach your goals. The Sixth Form at Bedford School is genuinely exciting. Here, you have the freedom to choose subjects you’re truly passionate about, the space to explore them in depth and the support to push yourself further than you ever thought possible.Outside the classroom, there’s so much going on. Whether you’re into sport, music or drama—like me—you’ll find boys who share your interests, and teachers who are right behind you, encouraging you every step of the way.In the Sixth Form, you will begin by choosing four subjects from a wide range of options. There are 24 A-Level subjects to choose from, along with two BTEC Level 3 qualifications—Sport and Exercise Science, and Enterprise and Entrepreneurship. From the second term onwards, you may decide to focus on three subjects, although many boys continue with four.
