Elementary Program (Kindergarten to Grade 7)

Burnaby’s elementary schools offer more than a strong academic foundation—they nurture the whole child. With 41 public elementary schools across the city, we provide a warm, inclusive environment where children feel safe, valued, and inspired to grow. Whether they’re just beginning their educational journey in Kindergarten or preparing for the transition to high school in Grade 7, international students thrive through interactive, hands-on learning that sparks curiosity, builds confidence, and helps them become kind and capable global citizens. All classes are taught by British Columbia Certified teachers, ensuring students receive a high standard of education and care.
