The BS in Biotechnology prepares students to step confidently into the expanding world of biotech. With a strong focus on research, technology and applied skills, the program equips undergraduates for careers in the biotechnology industry or for success in research-focused graduate programs, complementing existing strengths within the Biological Sciences and Natural and Mathematical Sciences.

CBU’s Biotechnology program is a research- and technology-focused undergraduate major designed to give students hands-on laboratory and analytical experience typically reserved for graduate study. From the start, students develop the technical skills needed to compete in industry or transition seamlessly into research-based graduate programs.
